I don’t get on with this face recognition malarkey, in fact I find it a nightmare to use. One time I decided to help out a friend who works in an old people’s home and volunteered on a field trip to London Zoo. I ended up driving a bus-full of geriatrics and was designated photographer. I took my brand spanking new Kodak M320 EasyShare 9.2Mpx Digital Camera with me as I knew the immense quality would be enough to capture the landscape of the wrinkliest of faces, even Ancient Aggy’s!
All was well until I turned on the face recognition function while taking a group photo next to the Baboon’s enclosure...the camera didn’t know where to look! It thought the Baboon bums were centre of the shot and the wrinkly faces were old oak trees!
The next week I logged onto Facebook only to find they had tagged each other on these photos, commenting they couldn’t believe how young they looked and that it must’ve been the London air.
Luckily no-one has cottoned on yet, on the contrary they all thought they got rather sunburnt that day!
