I wouldn’t recommend ever asking another female whether she has a 2-porter. Not least in Soho. I speak from personal experience. I was in London at the weekend on a night out with the girls and not being natives of the big city we wondered into what seemed like the wrong part of town.
The streets became lined with seedy joints, strip bars and clubs, telephone boxes rammed with naked ladies offering all sorts of things if I called their £10/minute premium number.
After being tempted by the offer of happy hour drinks we plonked ourselves in the nearest bar we could – ‘The Dirty Lemon’ – and it wasn’t long after grabbing our Tequilas when we were accosted left, right and centre by whoever had a heartbeat. One woman in particular was talking to a friend of mine when I joined in the conversation at the last and completely misunderstood the topic...
“...so yeah, I can find myself just switching it on and off when I like.”
Thinking she meant her Belkin Soho 2-Port KVM Switch I asked her whether she had 2-Ports.
That was the last time we ventured into Soho.
