Whats going on bigoffers?
First thing is the price why have most items been put up and the trader price is actaully the old price, I have noticed this on a lot of items.
Bigoffers have Chinese contacts now I see from viewing the coming soon section thought it was a bankrupts / sur+ etc website
sorry for the rant, but things have changed and I have moved from placing 4-5 orders a week or 1 every 2 weeks

Agreed.
Got to say how very disappointed I am with the trader section.... NOTHING has changed at all, I don`t know what you were meant to be improving on the site over the last few months but what a waste of time it appears to have been... the prices, items and promo`s where better months back than they are now.
Previously, I was placing more than 1 order a week, due to feeling I was otherwise missing out on some great bargains, particularly summer stock. Now it`s in reverse, they are only really reducing the very low RRP poundland reject items to an attractive trader price anyway, or the filler items, so that you see those and want to grab a few, but get put off by the higher shipping charge and stick some higher price items in your basket (which are more to buy than before) to make it better value, which are now more profitable to the company since the price rises.
I`m sure it`s a short term success for the company with new customers, but not for the trader or existing customer who has already seen the previous cheaper price levels and discounts available in addition to those promised in the future.
How can you even attempt to trade items when some items have a locked limit of 1 item per order anyway?!
~ridiculous!
Even all the new items which are getting added to site are the same price for both customers and traders!!! The Trader section is still open to everyone!! MORE and more items getting sold directly by bigoffers on ebay!!
Where/ WHEN exactly is the trade discount coming into play?! What incentive is in place to order in bulk...surely not the 10p saving per item over not being a trader? Let`s hope they severely turn this around, what a mockery it has been so far.
I guess they just wanted to create a buzz with the customer base, get some extra coverage after the takeover and once they got that, they forget about the actual promises, or so it seems! How very disappointing, I actually thought this was going to be a great success, maybe after the next takeover though eh....for a month or so.
If bigoffers turn this around, then please feel free to smoke signal me about any good offers, it appears since the trade accounts went live, I`ve been cut off the mailing list, I looked on the archive, 3 mails since trade account set up have been sent out, but not to me, nor did I receive some other promo emails.
You`d think the business would want to promote to it`s trade customers?! It`s very strange, as previously I was receiving the emails in the first batch, I would always have an email through when others reported not receiving one. Nevermind, I wouldn`t have placed an order at these lower discounted prices anyway - it was cheaper just a fortnight ago, before the trader accounts went live, so I`m not re-ordering at a higher price, out of principle alone. I know the company can happily afford to put the prices back at the lower level at which we`ve purchased them before at the VERY VERY LEAST, but was still under the impression once the trader section was completed the prices would be less than we were previously paying, `”so you can sell at the same price as bigoffers and still make a profit”.... otherwise what was the point of offering trade accounts?!
Disappointment rant over, I doubt it`ll make much difference, as they don`t take the time to reply either way. They don`t seem to take on board their own promises and statements or learn from previous mistakes and certainly don`t see their statements through to the end, so little hope of taking notice of customer suggestions.

Hi both, thank you for the feedback, as you know the trade pricing beta launched recently as we were testing the 2 level pricing model and perhaps we didn`t get it right first time.
To be completely honest with you we were looking for feedback and I did not expect the functionality to be perfect first time round, so for that I appreciate your honesty.
In order to make it work best I`ve set up a thread here - Clicky... - for all suggestions/comments/feedback.
I am not sure why you are not receiving the emails any more but I am happy to investigate and re-add you to the list if you wish?

Got to agree with Post No 1, still a lot of items on the Comming soon page that are very familiar to traders who may use sites like deal Extreme etc to order items from China, only thing is that Deal extreme is a lot cheaper.... take one example of the Super-Mini Bluetooth 2.0 Adapter Dongle which you have coming soon at £1.99 with an RRP of £9.99... you can buy these from Deal Extreme at as little as 65p each... The same goes for the following products
World Smallest Transflash TF / MicroSD USB 2.0 Card Reader
Mini Keychain UV Light and Money Detector
OEM Premium USB 2.0 Data Charging Cable for iPhone 3G
Lightsabre Mini LED Keychain- 4*AG3
2.5`` to 3.5`` IDE Hard Disk Drive Adapter
Whistle Controlled Anti-theft Anti-Lost Security Keychain
Apple iPod/ iPhone UK Travel Charger
Car Charger for iPod/iPhone 2G/3G/3GS
Complete Disassembly Tools for iPhone and iPhone 3G
2 in 1 Super Silver LED Laser Pen
Racing Wheel Controller for Wii (White + Blue)(This item is £2.99 from you and only 99p from deal extreme)
+ lots more of items that I cant be bothered to list
Plus deal extreme do FREE delivery..
What I am saying is that if I have noticed this then other people will have as well and you are going to end up losing the trader buyer from your site who will start going elsewhere... Since you put ALL of your prices up last month I for one am only spending about 1/4 of what I used to with you... because of your price increases I have had to (As a trader) go elsewhere to source many of my products that I used to get off you as it the prices you are now charging I would not be able to buy and sell on... some of the items I used to buy have seen increases in price from 59p up to £3.50 - £5.00....
