At its highest setting the tripod can match much larger and heavier tripods. It takes your camera to 60" high. At the lowest setting you can work at just 42cm from the ground, a perfect height for macro and table top photography.

Legs

The quick-twist leg locks mean setting up the tripod is super quick and easy. The legs can be set up in three positions, for normal working height, medium height and extra low. The locking rings of the three leg segments can be unlocked by a simple twist of the wrist.

Centre Column

The telescopic central column has a larger diameter than most compact tripods. This means that in its fully extended position it remains very stable. A retractable stability hook on the underside of the column can be used to attach your camera bag to provide extra stability in high winds.

The unique design of the tripod means it is far more compact in comparison to conventional tripods. The legs are folded upwards and the centre column and ball head are kept between the three legs. It’s small enough and light weight that you can easily carry it in airline hand luggage.

Head

The ball head is of supreme quality, is quick to adjust and combines good load carrying capacity with excellent stability. The head is equipped with the proven Arca-Swiss compatible quick release system. The included quick release plate is interchangeable with all other Pig Iron heads and other Arca-Swiss style tripod heads. The ball head is equipped with a built in spirit level for getting your landscape photos level.
