You will all remember Boffer was the original daily deals site.... We were the people who brought you the USB FORNICATION OPTIMSER, the BAG OF CRAP, the Boffer sell offs and more zany products than we care to remember. Some time ago as a company we decided to change our business model. Instead of supplying consumers with products we decided to supply other retailers with products. This did cause us a wee problem in terms of the Boffer website as we could hardly sell products to a load of retailers and then undercut them by selling the same products on Boffer cheaper. So we decided to take Boffer offline for a while. We have decided to reinvent ourselves as an online wholesaler rather than retailer. Boffer will now be a deal a day site for eBay, Amazon and other market traders to source wholesale stock. Boffer will now supply high quality stock for low prices to professional sellers to resell for a profit through various online and offline channels. Initially this will be in the format of a daily deal i.e. one product or job lot per day. As we are now selling stock on behalf of receivers, administrators and finance companies we must sell the stock. Every daily deal will have a buy it now price or you are welcome to make us an offer as well. Example: Today’s Boffer might be a job lot of 10 iPads for £1000. You decide that they are only worth £500.00 and make us an offer for that amount. If we don’t manage to sell all our job lots for £1000.00 we may well get in touch to accept your offer of £500.00. Another one of Boffers developments is the re launch of the Megabots auctions. Don’t remember the Megabots??! Well let us remind you, check out the competition entries below; That’s right Megabots was Boffers cheeky “bit on the side”. 50 simultaneous auctions where if a product did not sell the price kept going down until the product sold. Megabots will be back soon but we will be selling in bulk. One final thing we should tell you is now that we have decided to change our business model and re launch Boffer, we are asking anyone who wishes to reuse Boffer to register again. The forum is still going to get bigger and better, we would like to make it more of a resource for online and offline sellers. As well as being the best daily deals site for Traders to source wholesale stock, we would like the Boffer forum to help professional sellers connect with suppliers to help them find wholesalers, source products and stock. You will also be able to access reviews of wholesale suppliers, get import/export advice and essential business info and support. We even have a “Buy Sell Trade” section in the forum to let you all sell amongst yourselves. Q) I’m a wholesaler can I sell my product as the daily deal on Boffer? Q) Will you still be selling the bag of crap? Yes we will be but it’s more likely to be a pallet of crap, a truck of crap or possibly a containership of crap... Watch this space for details! Q) Now that you are supplying traders can I get credit on the products I purchase from you? Possibly. We are negotiating hard with a company at them moment to underwrite the credit. As soon as we have more information on this we will let you know. Q) When are you going to be live? We are making quite a few changes to the website, it’s all work in progress and as soon as Stephen our webby finishes them we will go live.
